Dr. Eric Purdom worked at Children’s Mercy Hospital during college, which piqued his interest in caring for children. He was drawn to the specialty of ear, nose and throat because it allowed him the opportunity to care for children as well as adults both medically and surgically. Purdom spent nine years in the United States Army caring for soldiers and their dependents and has been stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA, Honolulu, HI, and Ft. Riley, KS. He continues to care for military beneficiaries. Purdom enjoys being able to provide relief for patients and improve their quality of life by addressing problems related to their senses, breathing and sleep, as well as cosmetic concerns. He has special interest in caring for chronic ear problems and patients with head and neck cancer.
